wetlands area, Aiguamolls de l’Empordà, has been listed as part of the Ramsar
Convention on wetlands of international importance. 329
species of birds
have been spotted here, of which 82 nest regularly in the area.
The
extensive network of hides makes it easy to watch birds,
as well as other pastimes such as photography
and
digiscoping.
