At the nearby aerodrome of Empuriabrava is the SkyDive parachuting centre, considered one of the most important in the world. If it’s your first time, a jump accompanied by an instructor (a tandem jump) is an experience you’ll never forget for the rest of your life.\u00a0 You can do a range of courses or simply bring your own equipment and book a seat on the next flight.<\/p>\n
There’s also a pilot training school, both for light aircraft and for ultralights, with which you can go on aerial trips all over the area. You’re sure to enjoy the wonderful aerial views of the bay!<\/p>\n
And if you aren’t quite so daring, you can try the Windoor wind tunnel.<\/p>\n
There you can recreate the experience and sensations of parachutists when they jump 4,000 metres above sea level. The air currents inside the glass tube can reach 300 kilometres an hour, with speeds controlled to suit every kind of audience and age, from five upwards.<\/p>\n
